Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian TV presenter and actress. Her most well-known work is the star of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of 16years old, she had landed several television roles, for instance, the lead in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. After her critically acclaimed role in the TV film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went into other notable parts, including Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudljunge in Downfall. The film won an Oscar and received critical acclaim. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominated features featuring models. Alexandra participated in several well-known national and international projects over time. The British biographical movie Control, the Greek Drama The Dust of Time, and French historical mini-series Napoleon are just a few of those. She also served on the jury at the Transylvania International Film Festival, and also at Cannes Film Festival.
